Easter with the Duckling's

Marie never ceases to amaze me, she is just an incredible photographer. Porter totally loved these little guy's and did not want to leave. She also go to take a few with the baby chick that we talked Madelyn into letting Porter hold. Marie also took a few of the girls with their crazy smiles, both are about at the same stage with baby and permanent teeth and it makes for a hillarious smile to see them together! I can not wait to see the rest of the photo shoot, but for now I see that she captured my girl again!

Gardening

Gardening is so fun~! Beautiful day, spring break, cleaning up and clearing out the winter debris and bubs and flowers to plant. But is it is so much fun why can't I walk or breathe today????? Oh well, at least Porter caught some fresh worms! Yuck!
At least today is all about scrappin! Have a scrappy day.

The Rain!!!

Oh my, today has been DREARY!!!! Rained all day all night... Got to drive around in it to much when I could not see squat, pure white knuckle driving. Still got out to do cardio, yeah me. And was so excited to go to the new Cedar Hill mall http://www.uptownvillageatcedarhill.com/. It is really cool to have something sooo "up-town" so close to home. We went to Matt's Ranchero Martinez for dinner and then we went to my new favorite store The Buckle http://www.buckle.com/ and I got these cute new capri's!!!! And it sure made my day a little sunnier! We are watching Atonement tonight before MIL goes home tomorow and oldest DD is here and going scrapping with me tomorow so she can make something for her Dad for his b-day. Looking forward to spending time at my favorite store http://www.thecraftyscrapper.com, and I heard they were getting the Zutter's in today, OH JOY!!!! (In my best Stimpy voice!)

Did I mention my awesome MIL is in town???

This is Lana, or better known to my daughter as Nana.... Hey Nana Lana.... that rhymes!!!! (Porter'ism). Any who, I love when she comes for a visit. She also informed me that she wants us to bring Porter to her for a week over the summer...was that the angel chorus singing Halleluah??? Does not get better than that. We have eaten out every meal til we are almost sick! Texas Land and Cattle, Nino's, Carino's and Hibachi 97'. So today I went to the store and got some stuff for a healthy dinner, that and I am afraid to put anything bad in my mouth after the trainer whooped up on Chris and I this morning. I think we are going to go get pedi's later today! Gotta love my Lana!!!!

New Work

Here is a new project I did for Design Team work for http://thecraftyscrapper.com/, the best store in the known universe. I really love the way this turned out. I have another assignment for this week. Another Maya Roads chipboard album, I am going to use the pictures of the Kindergarten field trip to the http://meyersonsymphonycenter.com/. Our trainer kicked our buts so hard this morning I can not hardly lift my arms. Even the Alive did not touch it. I am very excited for when 8:30 pm gets here and I can have a glass of wine, maybe that will cut the ache a bit better! Have a scrappy day!

Well here is a new layout that almost never was, due to the fact of loosing all my Easter pictures from 2007. But luckily with a little help from my friends, I was able to pull enough pictures to create this layout for The Crafty Scrapper Design Team. Here also is a picture from my woderful weekend away at http://stolenmomentsinn.com. It was a blast and the perfect retreat, run by a scrapper to cater to scrappers!
